Silvia Olivas

Silvia Cardenas Olivas, a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, started her career in comedy. Her first staff-writing job was on Moesha where she quickly rose through the ranks to Co-Producer. Since then she’s developed into an incredibly versatile writer, working on multi-camera and single camera sit-coms, live-action, animation, direct-to-videos and feature films. Olivas enjoys finding the edge in light characters and the humanity in dark ones. She’s a recipient of the ABC/Disney Writer Program.
