Grantland is a zine that describes itself as "sports and pop culture from Bill Simmons and our rotating cast of writers." Supervising editors include Dave Eggers and Chuck Klosterman. And it's a part of ESPN Internet Ventures.
Electric Literature offers a blog companion to its print zine. It's devoted to the art of the short story through a new media platform. Notable contributors include Michael Cunningham, Colson Whitehead and Nathan Englander. There are even some animated versions of short stories.

Cartoon Movement is an online community for "high quality political cartoons and comics journalism." It serves as a discussion forum and showcase for international editorial cartoonists.
