Venice the Series won a special 2011 Daytime Emmy (the first of its kind) for Outstanding Special Class Format. It's a subscription-based Web soap opera series co-produced and starring veteran TV soap actress Crystal Chappell (Guiding Light).
TV FOR THE INTERNET

The Intelligent Channel
IntelligentChannel.com is a YouTube channel that describes itself as "intelligent conversation's new home on the Web." It includes "Richard Belzer's Conversation" and "moving-image collections at top universities, libraries, museums, and archives."

MAKERS
Developed by AOL, MAKERS is a "historic video initiative" that offers a series of video stories about known and unknown "trailblazing women" like Madeleine Albright, Diane Von Furstenberg, and others.

E-PUBLISHING

The Idea Logical Company
The Idea Logical Company was founded by Mike Shatzkin, a publishing industry veteran. The focus of his company blog is news and opinions regarding "digital change in the book publishing industry."

Digital Book World
Digital Book World is the online platform for a noted conference that addresses radical change in commercial publishing. The Web site provides "educational and networking resources for consumer publishing professionals and their partners." Note that a membership is required to participate in their online forums.

EMAIL FICTION

Daily Science Fiction
Daily Science Fiction describes itself as "an email magazine" that offers free daily delivery of original science fiction short stories to its subscribers.

GAMES

MCV – News, events, research and jobs from the games industry
MCV is the online appendage for the print edition of the MCV game industry trade magazine from a European perspective. The Web site offers game industry news, trends, game release schedules, as well as a jobs board.

Wondermind
From England's prestigious Tate Gallery, Wondermind is a suite of beautiful online games based on Alice In Wonderland. The games explore science and its relation to art.
