WGAW Rep Report: Stop Work Orders: Millennium Pictures and Village Roadshow Productions Dashboard Dashboard

We are writing to alert you that your WGA member clients are prohibited under Working Rule 8 from performing writing services for, or optioning or selling literary material to, the following two companies: 

• Millennium Pictures, Inc. (“Millennium”); and 
• Village Roadshow Productions, Inc. (“Village Roadshow”)

Both Millennium and Village Roadshow currently owe hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid compensation and contributions to writers.  These companies have failed to pay writers properly and they refused to post a bond to demonstrate their ability to be financially responsible, as required under the MBA.

You can access the stop work orders that the WGA sent to its members here:  

• Millennium Pictures, Inc.
• Village Roadshow Productions, Inc.

If Millennium or Village Roadshow owes money to your WGA member clients, or if your clients have been recently approached or are currently employed by Millennium or Village Roadshow, please contact the Agency Department. 

We will notify you if, and when, the stop work orders are lifted.
