Congratulations to IATSE Members On Ratifying a New Contract

Los Angeles and New York – Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) and Writers Guild of America East (WGAE) issued the following statement:

"Congratulations to IATSE members who recently ratified their 2024 Hollywood Basic and Area Standards Agreements.

We urge the studios to bargain in good faith with the Teamsters and Hollywood Basic Crafts as they approach their contract deadline on July 31. All workers deserve to be fairly compensated for the value their work creates."

The Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America East (WGAE) are labor unions of writers working in motion pictures, television, cable, digital media and broadcast news.
